More knitting going on

I am really really trying to knit something for everyone on my Christmas list so pray for some speedy hands over here..... Despite being incredibly ADD I have managed to finish a few items. I need to take more pictures of my projects. Here is a list of what is on my needles. BTW if you are on Ravelry check out my stuff! My name is longhornfanz

If you are in my family please stop reading. Or, you can keep reading and spoil your present :)

So far all of the women are getting a version of the Oregon tote or My Little Companion from Knit Kits

Some lucky man in my life will recieve the Unikat Entrelac Scarf

My niece and daughter are getting the Fulled Lopi Tote

I am also knitting some socks for myself (if they fit)
My brother in law is going to love the Mr Roboto illusion scarf :)

and in the middle of all of this I am knitting for my friend who is having her 7th baby!

Here they are!

I finally found my camera cord and enough time to post this.
Here are two felted bags that I have finished. (well kindof)
I wish I had taken pictures of them before I felted them. I actually felted the brown one twice and I have yet to add the straps. This is Lambs Pride Bulky. I knitted it on size 11's. It was a quick project as it was my first attempt at felting. Or even knitting in the round as a matter of fact.

Here it is:

Here is the green and purple one. It is much larger. It turned out a little floppy. I may felt it again or add something to the bottom for stability. Any suggestions?

This was also knit using Lambs Pride bulky and size 11 needles. I really like this bag.

I will try to post some more of my projects as they come. My plan is to make every Christmas present this year, so I have ALOT of knitting to do before Dec. 25!

Gettin' knitty with it!

I am fully obsessed with my new hobby!
KNITTING!
I learned how to knit years ago in the car on the way to a funeral. I made several scarfs, but who really needs a scarf in Central Texas?
So, I have graduated to making felted bags. Now I am trying some socks. I am not sure how they will turn out, but I will let you all know.

When I can find the cord that goes to my camera I will try and get some pictures of my latest knitting projects on here.

Until then,
S~

Family Night a Great Success!

We had a wonderful Family Night last night at our homeschool co op. My two oldest sang in the choir and they were great! This semester they learned all of the songs to the different armed foces. It was great!
I didn't take any pictures, but I did videotape. I am going to try and figure out how to put it on here. :)
We just figured out how to get them onto a DVD from our camera..... We've only had it three years!

We've been here, but not online much!

Our life has been crazy lately with Bailey going to class everyday. He is taking a reading class from an Academic Language Therapist that is helping TREMENDOUSLY! But, it does take us from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm for the whole process. The class is an hour long and the drive is around 30 - 45 minutes. Anyway, it is definitely worth the trip and he is excelling beyond my expectations.
So that is why we started this thing and never really got it off of the ground.
Bailey only has a few more weeks left and then we will be free every afternoon!
HALLELEUIA!
Tonight we have our Co Op Family Night. The kids will be singing and reciting and showing off school projects so it should be a night of fun!
